Juggling the to-do list

Some days you wake up are an instant #supermom!

Other days, not so much.

More days than not, us moms wake up instantly overwhelmed by what we have to get done that day, laundry, dishes, vacuuming, sweeping, multiple meals cooked every day, if you have animals that’s even more chores on the daily.

Not to mention taking care of yourself!

Getting dressed, doing makeup, working out, showering…

And this is all on top of caring for your baby and helping him/her progress with crawling or walking, talking and learning to eat.

Let’s face it, none of us are perfect and we all struggle with completing that to-do list, just, sometimes it’s easier than others.

WHERE TO START

The first thing you want to start with is figuring out what you want your day to be like.

How do you want to feel at the end of the day?

What do you want to achieve that day?

What big goals are you working towards and how can you progress on those goals today?

These are questions that absolutely have to be answered in order to structure your day and tackle that to-do list!

By answering these questions, you can better see what your priorities are and where your efforts should be aimed.

When answering these questions, I like to use a daily planner that is formatted for detailed goals and daily success like this one from amazon https://amzn.to/3ElnlDE

Once you lay out your daily goals you should have a good idea on where to start your day and get way more done than without knowing what you want your ideal day to look like.

DON’T FRET IF YOU MISS A DAY

Missing days every now and then will happen, you cannot expect perfection, only to be better than you were the day before.

If you do miss a day just make sure you are back on track the next day and you won’t fall behind.

Trust me I have done my share of missing days and feeling like I failed but that does not get us anywhere.

It is best to just recoup yourself and start again, with a positive mindset that you are capable of accomplishing ANYTHING you want in life by taking it one day at a time.

Conclusion

While some people can get a lot done without planning their entire day, it is good practice to plan your day, know what you want out of it, and make it happen.

Plus, being organized and knowing what you want in your day and ultimately your life, never hurt anyone!

Now, don’t worry, get started, and own your life, you got this!
